The energy that lies beneath our feet
Coinciding with the celebration of Earth Day on 22nd April, at Geoplat we have decided to highlight, once again, geothermal energy; the renewable energy that takes advantage of the heat emanating from the Earth’s core to the Earth’s crust. This makes it clean, efficient and the only renewable energy that is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Our current energy model is unsustainable and more and more voices are joining in to demand a more responsible use of resources and the transition towards energies and technologies that are more efficient and respectful of our environment. And if possible, that can be implemented in our daily lives, in our homes, neighbourhoods or workplaces.
Using geothermal energy to generate electricity, air conditioning or hot water not only helps to reduce energy dependence on fossil fuels, but also reduces greenhouse gas emissions, the main cause of global warming.
For all these reasons, on this Earth Day we urge you to go for geothermal energy.
Let’s take advantage of the energy that lies beneath our feet!
