QUESTIONNAIRE: GEOTHERMIA in Spain needs you!
A questionnaire has been developed to give a voice to as many actors in the sector as possible, regardless of their nature (private or public) and their field of work (shallow or deep geothermal).
The aim is to provide as much and as good information as possible to the consultants to enable them to carry out a good analysis of the geothermal sector
As part of the implementation and monitoring of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR) for the Green Transition, the State Secretariat for Energy (SEE) of the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge is carrying out a study for the European Commission (DG Reform) analysing the current state of the value chains of those clean energy technologies that are considered key… and geothermal energy has been identified as one of the strategic energy sectors to end the EU’s dependence on Russian fossil fuels (REPowerEU).
The analysis to be carried out by the consultancy firms Trinomics, NTTdata and Social Gob will focus on identifying barriers and needs for the development of geothermal value chains in the Spanish context.
In addition to conducting interviews with representatives of different links in the sector’s value chain, a questionnaire has been developed to give a voice to as many actors in the sector as possible, regardless of their nature (private or public) and their field of work (shallow or deep geothermal).
The aim is to provide as much and as good information as possible to the consultants to enable them to carry out a good analysis of the geothermal sector and thus contribute to a more detailed understanding of the challenges that exist in the value chain and to have more effective public instruments and support to facilitate the development of this energy in Spain.
GEOPLAT encourages you to participate by filling in this questionnaire before the deadline of Wednesday 5 July. It is undoubtedly a worthwhile effort because there is a lot at stake.
