(Español) Curso de especialización en energía geotérmica de alto nivel científico

On 25-26 September 2023, in the framework of the European project GEO4CIVHIC – Most Easy, Efficient and Low Cost Geothermal Systems for Retrofitting Civil and Historical Building, the European Centres of Excellence (ECoE) network is organising a specialisation course on geothermal energy at a high scientific level for master, postgraduate and PhD students.

The course will be held in English and in hybrid format: online and face-to-face at all 4 ECoE network member organisations: Valencia (Spain), Padua (Italy), Erlangen (Germany) and Oradea (Romania).

The course, taught by leading scientists, researchers and university professors, consists of 4 modules:

MODULE I: nZEB buildings, thermal loads and Historical Buildings.
MODULE II: Geology, mapping, Environmental Impact and regulations
MODULE III: Geothermal heat pumps technology and drilling techniques
MODULE IV: Thermal Tests and Sizing GSHP

The Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), promoter member of GEOPLAT, is responsible for the West European Center of Excellence, and is in charge of delivering Module IV.
Participation in the course offers the possibility of obtaining a diploma of participation and access to all the documentation given during the two days of the course. Graduates of the course will join the communication group of the ECoE network.
