Madrid City Council’s Green Office takes stock of three years since its creation

On 17 February 2025, we attended the event to celebrate the ‘Three year balance of the Green Office – Madrid City Council’. The event allowed us to learn first-hand about the achievements of the Green Office in this period, such as the 5,500 consultations on energy efficiency, with a special focus on aid for refurbishment.

The Delegate for Housing Policies and President of EMVS Madrid, Álvaro González, highlighted that thanks to the work of the Green Office and plans such as Rehabilita Madrid, ‘it has contributed to reducing more than 15,700 tonnes of CO2 per year and has achieved savings of 66 million kWh in the residential sector’.

We are proud to be a member of the Green Office, a space for collaboration between companies, associations and the Madrid City Council itself in order to disseminate, advise and raise awareness of the importance of energy efficiency.
